Ankit graduated from one of the top engineering colleges of India. Ankit was a child prodigy during his school days. He grew up tinkering with electronics, experimenting with plants, computers, chemicals, anything you name it. He was a topper both during school and college years. He was a state topper in Mathematics and Science at high school and got an excellent GPA of 9.4/10.0 in electrical engineering.
Starting his career as a robotics trainer, Ankit developed a strong acumen for core academics later. Tutoring more than 200 students for last couple of years, he mentored more than 50 students for a perfect score of 7 in both Physics and Mathematics.
More than being an academic expert he is a science communicator who enjoys explaining the toughest and complex concepts in a very lucid manner.
My tutoring style is student-centred, interactive, and focused on building genuine understanding rather than encouraging rote learning. I break complex concepts into clear, manageable steps and use real-world examples, practical applications, diagrams, and questioning to help students understand the “why” behind what they are learning.I adapt my approach to each student’s level, learning pace, and individual needs. I encourage students to ask questions, explain their reasoning, and develop confidence in tackling unfamiliar problems independently. For GCSE and A-Level students, I combine strong conceptual teaching with exam-focused practice. This includes working through past-paper questions, identifying common mistakes, improving exam technique, and developing the ability to apply knowledge to new situations. My aim is not simply to help students achieve better grades, but to make them more confident, curious, and independent learners who understand the subject deeply.
Our tutors go through a rigorous selection process. Each one is interviewed to assess their teaching ability, completes a test of their IB subject knowledge, and has passed a police and background check. They bring extensive IB tutoring experience and a proven track record of helping students achieve their academic goals
