DJ graduated from the University of Waterloo with an Honours degree in Statistics and Combinatorics and Optimization. He has taught Mathematics for 17 years and is specifically trained by IB in the new math curriculum. DJ emphasizes understanding the why behind each problem rather than trying to memorize a series of steps in his sessions as this promotes long-term success in Mathematics. DJ has also been an IB examiner for the last four years and uses the knowledge he has gained from identifying common errors made by students to help students in their lessons together.
DJ focuses on learning to understand the mathematics behind each concept rather than memorizing a bunch of steps. Expect each online session to be very interactive and homework assignments provided afterwards.
Our tutors go through a rigorous selection process.
