I am Mr. Majid Sarrouh, Chemistry Teacher in the German International School Beirut. I have 30 years of experience in teaching Chemistry for students at the Secondary level (Grades 10, 11 and 12). I have a great passion for Chemistry to help students build their skills and confidence.

I am fond of Computer Programming and I have advanced skills in the use of Technology in Teaching.

I teach IB Chemistry courses at SL and HL and I am an IB Examiner in the International Baccalaureate Organization. I mark IA Lab Reports and Paper Examinations (Paper 1B and Paper 2).

If students need any assistance in any topic, I am ready to assist them in solving any issue. Chemistry is easy and fun and once learnt in the proper way, it will be more appreciated and the performance will be better.

I am ready to assist students in learning, understanding and advancing their skills in Chemistry while enjoying Chemistry as a Scientific Discipline through Interactive Learning Sessions.

I work closely with each student to identify their strengths and areas for improvement, then tailor my lessons to their individual needs. I focus on building a strong understanding of Chemistry concepts while developing the problem-solving, calculation, data-analysis and exam techniques required for GCSE, IGCSE and A-Level examinations.My sessions are interactive and student-centred, combining clear explanations with carefully selected past-paper questions and progressively challenging problems. My aim is to help students understand Chemistry rather than simply memorise it, build their confidence, and approach their examinations with the skills needed to achieve their full potential.
