I am an IB tutor with a strong background in both the academic and practical aspects of the International Baccalaureate program. I hold a degree in Management Information Systems, an MBA with a specialization in Project Management, and I’m currently pursuing a PhD in Information Systems Management. I studied English Literature and History at the Higher Level (HL) during my own IB journey, achieving top marks that reflect my deep understanding of these subjects.

Throughout my tutoring career, I have helped students navigate the complexities of the IB curriculum, including preparing them for their Internal Assessments (IA), Extended Essays (EE), and Theory of Knowledge (TOK). I specialize in English Literature, History, and the full range of IB subjects, and I take pride in guiding students through the unique requirements of each component. I keep things simple. I explain difficult topics in plain language, using everyday examples like a car journey or a ball being thrown, so students understand why a method works and not just how to use it. Each lesson is built around the student: I start by finding out what they already know, then take new ideas one step at a time. Students do the thinking and the drawing, and I ask them to explain their reasoning out loud, so I can see where they get stuck and fix it on the spot. We practice with exam-style questions, and I teach a clear routine for calculations and time management, so students feel confident on exam day. My goal is for every student to understand the material, feel confident, and enjoy learning it.
