Pilar lives in Stavanger, Norway, with her husband and two daughters, where she works as the Principal Coordinator and Music Teacher at Sandnes International School in PYP and MYP programmes. With over 15 years of experience in international education, she has served as MYP Coordinator at an international school in Spain, as well as Head of Department and Music Teacher, with expertise across the PYP, MYP, and DP programmes, also has experience as a Spanish Teacher.
She is an active member of the International Baccalaureate Educator Network (IBEN), serving as a Workshop Leader, Programme Leader, Examiner, and Visiting Team Member. Pilar also collaborates with the Valencian International University in Spain as a counsellor for the Master for Heads of Schools programme.
