Louise is an experienced teacher and tutor with 13+ years of experience with the IB. She has consistently assisted students in attaining 6/7 in Biology SL and HL and is well-versed in supporting students writing IAs, ecology based projects in particular. In addition she has supervised several candidates in completing a World Studies EE with Biology as one of the subject lenses with 100% of students attaining A-C.
At university Louise initially began studying Biochemistry but quickly realised that Microbiology was a bigger passion. She therefore has an excellent understanding of metabolic processes that students tend to find tricky. Her PhD in life sciences demonstrates that she understands the research process and is able to pass these skills onto her students.
Finally, Louise's teaching qualification was attained at the University of Oxford meaning that she is equipped with teaching skills that will allow her to get the best from her students. Her approach is to work with students with empathy and an open mind so that students grow in confidence and feel that they can achieve more than they previously thought possible.

Lovisa completed the IB programme in 2024 in Finland with a score of 44, the highest her school had seen in years, receiving multiple awards and acting valedictorian. She received 7s in HL Economics, Global Politics and Swedish A literature, as well as SL Physics and Maths, and a 6 in SL English Lang Lit, as well as As in both TOK and EE. She now studies Philosophy, Politics and Economics at the University of Oxford, where she received a distinction after her first year of studies. Lovisa has 3 years of tutoring experience, having also worked as a substitute teacher for half a year. She ensures that her students feel comfortable and enjoy the sessions through approaching everything with a positive mindset, noticing even the smallest progress made, and taking a little bit of time to get to know the student.

Luis Enrique Ramos studied Archaeology and History in Bolivia and Spain respectively. He has been teaching History SL and HL in the IBDP Program for three years. He has also been tutoring students from Latin America with excellent results!
