Ysa Ortiz holds deep expertise in the teaching of the Humanities, with a M.A. in Humanities and a M.A. in Humanities Education from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. A licensed educator with seven years of secondary teaching experience, she taught and tutored English Language and Literature HL for two years, and Theory of Knowledge for one year. Under her tutelage, students cultivated the deep analytical skills expected of IB learners, and were guided through every step of the way in the subject's internal and external assessments.
Ysa's sessions are personalized, with time given to understanding the learner's unique strengths and challenges, and ultimately aimed at helping the learner develop deep understanding of the subject that they can carry with them through life.
With her genuine love for working with young people, as well as her deep expertise in the Humanities, students are assured of an enriching learning experience with Ysa.
M. Zubair Afzal is a mathematics tutor with nine years of teaching experience, working with students both online and in person across multiple international curricula. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from NUST and a Master’s in Industrial Engineering & Management from UET Lahore. He achieved A grades in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry in O Levels and now teaches O Level, IGCSE, GCSE, A Level, IB Mathematics (AA & AI SL/HL), and SAT Math.
Zubair is known for his patient, step-by-step approach and strong focus on exam techniques and past papers. His goal is to help students build real understanding and confidence in math, not just memorize methods, enabling long-term academic success.
