Deborah is a French native speaker from Paris. She is a highly experienced and passionate French teacher with over 20 years of teaching expertise in American and British International schools. She specialises in teaching French across KS3, KS4, and KS5, with particular expertise in preparing students for GCSE / IGCSE / A Level / IB examinations (French Ab Initio, French B SL and HL). She brings a wealth of knowledge, enthusiasm, and proven strategies that enable her students to achieve and often surpass their target grades.
Her academic background is both rich and diverse. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature from La Sorbonne Paris III University, a Master’s degree in French from Nanterre Paris X University, a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Management from Buckingham University, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) from Glasgow University. She is also a fully qualified teacher with UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status). This strong academic foundation underpins her ability to deliver rigorous, engaging, and inspiring lessons.
Deborah’s teaching career has taken her across several countries, giving her invaluable international experience. She has taught French to children, teenagers, young adults, and professionals, in France, the USA, Scotland, and England, and is now based in Egypt, where she continues to deliver high-quality online tuition to students across the world. Her international background has given her a deep understanding of diverse educational systems and learning needs, allowing her to adapt seamlessly to each student’s context.
Having served as Head of the Language Acquisition Department at a leading international school in London for over a decade, Deborah has extensive experience in curriculum design, lesson planning, and adapting to a wide range of learning styles and needs. David Gunputh graduated in Biological Chemistry with honours from the University of Essex in 1980. He has been a qualified teacher of Chemistry since 1983 and he has taught across many examination boards and syllabi. He is a vastly experienced teacher, having taught mainly in the UK until 2013 when he decided to venture into international schools in China, Singapore and Dubai. He has taught IB DP Chemistry since 2013 both at SL and AHL. David is currently teaching at an International school in London. He is also an IB DP Chemistry examiner which gives him an excellent and deep insight as to what examiners are looking for and hence he is really aware what examination skills are required for success. He is deeply committed to his students where he encourages, debate, deep thinking, understanding of concepts rather than memorising facts. His lessons are engaging, demanding, challenging and fun. He has the ability to bring out the best in his students.

Dexter Haywood is an IB English A & B specialist, IB Examiner, and IB Workshop Leader with over a decade of international teaching experience. Having marked official IB assessments and trained teachers in the Diploma Programme, he brings a rare combination of classroom expertise, examiner insight, and curriculum leadership to his work with students.
As an IB Examiner for English A: Language & Literature, Dexter understands precisely how top marks are awarded and helps students approach the Individual Oral, Paper 1, Paper 2, and the HL Essay with confidence and clarity. His students have consistently achieved outstanding results, including raising predicted grades to final 6s and 7s, while maintaining a 100% pass rate in Cambridge and IELTS examinations.
Beyond the classroom, Dexter has authored major sections of Kognity’s IB Language & Literature digital textbook and designed IB-aligned resources for Revision Village, two of the most widely used platforms supporting IB students around the world. His work has helped shape the learning experiences of thousands of students internationally.
Formerly Head of English at Colegio Suizo de México, Dexter has taught and led programmes across Europe, Asia, and Latin America. This global experience allows him to connect with students from a wide range of cultural and educational backgrounds and adapt his teaching to each learner’s needs.
Known for his structured, supportive, and engaging approach, Dexter specialises in turning complex tasks into clear, practical strategies that students can apply with confidence. His aim is not only to help students achieve exceptional academic results, but also to develop the independence, analytical skills, and self-belief that will serve them far beyond the IB.

Diego Aguirre holds a teaching degree (Licenciatura) in Philosophy and Letters, with an emphasis in Spanish Language, from Santo Tomás University in Bogotá, Colombia. With more than 15 years of teaching experience across the IB Diploma Programme, the MYP, and the national curriculum, he has spent over a decade teaching Theory of Knowledge in both Spanish and English.
Diego brings valuable leadership experience to his work: he has served as Diploma Programme Coordinator and Extended Essay Coordinator, and has trained teaching staff for the implementation of the IB programme in schools across Colombia. This gives him a complete understanding of how the IB works — from the daily classroom to its assessment criteria and its highest expectations. He has been trained directly by the IBO and holds a B2 English certification (Academic IELTS).
He also tutors students in Spanish A: Language and Literature and supports learners in English B, always guiding them through the core components with clarity and confidence. Diego's students consistently achieve strong results in their final assessments, a reflection of his reflective, structured, and rigorous approach. He leads them along a genuine path of critical thinking, helping them not only meet the assessment criteria but understand how knowledge itself is built, so that every student develops real intellectual confidence and learns to enjoy the journey of thinking deeply.

Dimitrios graduated from the IB Diploma Programme at the Costeas-Geitonas School in Athens with the cohort's top score of 43 points. His exceptional performance granted him direct admission to the Technical University of Munich where he will pursue his Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering at a top-25 university worldwide. Dimitrios was a national finalist in the National Olympiad for Astrophysics and Astronomy and has founded and lead his school's aerospace engineering club. He is also very passionate for the humanities, where aside from complementing his science-heavy curriculum of Math and Physics HL with English and History HL, he has also successfully completed a selective honours programme in International Relations by the University of Amsterdam. Dimitrios wants to help students excel in the IB by adapting to their needs and learning methods, but also by providing structured support and guidance all along the way. He would be very happy to have a chat about any possible collaboration!

DJ graduated from the University of Waterloo with an Honours degree in Statistics and Combinatorics and Optimization. He has taught Mathematics for 17 years and is specifically trained by IB in the new math curriculum. DJ emphasizes understanding the why behind each problem rather than trying to memorize a series of steps in his sessions as this promotes long-term success in Mathematics. DJ has also been an IB examiner for the last four years and uses the knowledge he has gained from identifying common errors made by students to help students in their lessons together.

Elias is an IB graduate currently studying engineering at Trinity College
Dublin. He completed the IB Diploma with 42 points, including 7s in Mathematics
HL, Computer Science HL and Economics SL. He knows the IB syllabus inside out
and understands the pressure that comes with exam season and university
applications. He spent two years tutoring mathematics and informatics with the
national organisation Trojsten, and last year all of his students achieved a 6
or a 7 in IB Maths. He currently mentors first-year engineering students at his
university, so he can be a subject tutor as well as a study mentor!

Farhana currently teaches Mathematics at one of Toronto’s leading private schools and previously served as Head of the Mathematics Department at another school. She holds an Engineering degree from Assumption University of Thailand and a master’s degree from Framingham University. She has several years of experience teaching high school Mathematics, including IB Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches and Applications and Interpretation, and she is an IB Mathematics examiner who assesses Internal Assessments.
Farhana is deeply committed to helping students make significant progress, including students who begin at a lower achievement level and are aiming for top IB results. She believes that no student is incapable of doing Mathematics and that, with the right direction, structure, practice, and encouragement, every student can improve. Her teaching focuses on building strong conceptual understanding, mathematical confidence, clear communication, and effective exam technique.

Farida graduated from the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme in 2021 with an outstanding score of 43/45. She achieved 7s in Business Management HL, Psychology HL, English B HL, and Mathematics: Applications and Interpretation SL, alongside 6s in Chemistry SL and Arabic A: Language and Literature SL. She also earned the full 3 core points, achieving an A in both Theory of Knowledge (TOK) and her Extended Essay (EE). She later graduated with honors from The American University in Cairo (AUC).
Having experienced the demands of the IB firsthand and achieved excellent results across a diverse range of subjects, Farida understands both the academic pressure and stress that come with the Diploma Programme. She knows that succeeding in the IB is not simply about understanding the content, but also about developing effective study strategies, managing workloads, preparing for assessments, and maintaining confidence throughout the journey.
As a tutor, Farida is supportive, patient, and genuinely invested in her students’ success. She aims to make challenging concepts easier to understand while adapting her teaching style to each student’s individual needs and goals. Haiyan Wang is an experienced Mandarin teacher with over 20 years of teaching experience in universities and international schools in both China and the UK. She specialises in IB Chinese Language B (SL/HL) and Ab Initio, as well as IB Chinese Language A Literature (SL/HL).
She has worked as an IB examiner for around 10 years and has in-depth knowledge of IB assessment criteria. This allows her to effectively prepare students for both internal and external assessments, including oral exams, Paper 1, Paper 2, and Extended Essays. Her expertise helps students improve both their language accuracy and exam performance with confidence and clarity.
Haiyan has supported both native and non-native Chinese-speaking students from a wide range of cultural and educational backgrounds. She is known for her patient, structured, and highly supportive teaching style, with a strong focus on building student confidence and independent learning skills.
She tailors each lesson carefully to individual needs and believes students achieve their best when they feel supported, motivated, and appropriately challenged. Her lessons are engaging, structured, and designed to help students not only succeed in exams but also enjoy the process of learning Mandarin.
