Brian is an Indonesian IB student who will be studying medicine at the University of Sheffield. With an IB of 42 and 776 at HL, he is ready to teach any prospective students requiring extra assistance. Brian is able to teach a variety of both HL and SL classes as well as assist in medical school applications.
Outside of his studies, Brian frequently involved in research, particularly microbiology and regenerative medicine. With his background, he is equipped to assist students not only with their studies but also their IAs.
Outside of work, Brian likes to relax by running or rock climbing. He is also an avid reader on theology and Indonesian literature. He is able to teach a variety of students regardless of skill level. With his encouraging attitude and as a former IB student himself, Brian is sure to provide your child with the most effective learning support.

Caleb Ado is a highly experienced and accomplished Chemistry educator with over 20 years of international teaching experience across the United States, Qatar, China, and Ethiopia. He is currently teaching IB Chemistry HL and SL at a leading international school in New York, where he specializes in helping students achieve top results in one of the most challenging high school science programs.
Caleb holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Master of Education and a Master of Science in Information Technology, and has previously served as Head of the Science Department at an international school in Qatar. Throughout his career, he has taught a wide range of curricula including IB, AP, A-Level, and IGCSE Chemistry and Physics, giving him a deep understanding of different exam systems and student needs.
Known for his clear explanations and structured approach, Caleb consistently helps students improve their understanding of complex concepts such as organic chemistry, energetics, and equilibrium. His students benefit from targeted exam preparation, data analysis skills, and problem-solving strategies that lead to measurable score improvements and increased confidence.
Calebâs teaching style is student-centered and highly supportive. He adapts his lessons to suit individual learning styles, using real-world examples, guided practice, and exam-focused techniques to ensure progress in every session. He is passionate about helping students not only succeed academically but also develop a genuine interest in science.

Carl Plummer, a published author, has an Upper Second Honours Degree in Literature and Modern History. He has taught IB DP for over 13 years (English Lang B, English Lang A Lang/Lit, English Language A Literature - all at HL and SL, while supervising many EEs, and was head of TOK for many years) and has completed numerous workshops to keep up-to-date with teaching skills and IB policy. Carl does plenty of preparation for classes, always has extra materials available for students (often involving history for context), and is firm with homework and homework marking.

I, Carlos Gil, hold a degree of Teacher of Foreign Languages from the University of Castilla - La Mancha, Spain. I have taught Spanish A and B in the PYP and MYP, English Communications in the MYP and Spanish Ab Initio in the DP at the International School of London for seventeen years, where my IBDP students have consistently achieved marks of 5 and above. As I have taught in all three programmes Spanish B, I know exactly how to scaffold my students' learning and how to push them to be the best prepared for their next steps.

With over 15 years of expert tutoring experience across IB, IGCSE, SAT, and ACT curricula, I specialize in guiding students through the complexities of Math and Physics. Having worked within the IB world since 2009 and serving as an active IB Physics Examiner, I provide an insiderâs perspective on mastering assessment criteria. My students consistently achieve excellence, maintaining average scores between 6 and 7 in both IB Physics and Mathematics. Cheryl is a highly qualified Biologist. She holds a First Class Honours degree in Anatomy and Cell Biology from the University of Sheffield and a PhD (focusing on the oxytocin receptor in the male reproductive tract) from the University of Bristol.
For the last 26 years, Cheryl has taught in independent schools around the globe (including the UK, NZ and Egypt). She has taught Biology at the following levels: GCSE, A level, IB MYP and IB DP as well as NCEA courses in Biology. She has also taught Chemistry and Science and Environmental Systems and Societies. Keeping up to date with the courses through professional development, Cheryl's understanding of the mentioned courses is current.
Cheryl's students have consistently achieved grades greater than their CEM data predictions. This means that Cheryl always adds 'value' to the achievement of her students. She is particularly adept at advising on the Internal Assessment element of the Biology IB course and can provide feedback or mark the entire IA to give an insight into what grade you might achieve. Cheryl is proud of the fact that the the grades she awarded her students throughout her career matched with those of the IB examiners: her marking was consistently 'consistent' with them. This is no mean feat!
Cheryl also likes to aid students with study and revision skills. She has a Master's degree in Education and Psychology from the University of Cambridge. Her thesis investigated the impact of graphic organisers on metacognition and learning.
Cheryl has been described as approachable and good humored and builds working relationships easily. She uses a constructivist approach in her teaching which means that her students are not passive but active learners.

Claireâs teaching experience spans 35 years, initially as an English and Drama teacher and from 2008 onwards as an IB Psychology teacher and personal tutor. Claire has taught GCSE and A Level Psychology as well as leading and teaching IB Psychology to international students. She also has a lot of experience as a personal tutor and as a supervisor and marker for the extended essay, as well as a great deal of experience as an IB examiner.
Claire works freelance as a resource writer and online tutor teaching groups and individual students from across the globe e.g., Vietnam, Switzerland, Hong Kong, China. She has co-authored two full-length IB Psychology textbooks (the âPsychology Sortedâ series) and topic IB textbooks for tutor2u on Relationship Psychology and Developmental Psychology plus student revision guides for all topics as well as having written countless Factsheets on a range of psychology topics for Curriculum Press. Claire particularly enjoyed running workshops for international teachers as part of the IB Conference in Barcelona.
Claireâs lessons are tailor-made to suit each student: they consist of lots of fast-paced activities, quizzes and games all designed to embrace the full range of learning styles, as well as in-depth exam work, unpacking questions and working on embedding critical thinking into exam answers.
Claire is a keen amateur figure skater: when sheâs not teaching she is to be found in the middle of a freezing cold ice rink trying to perfect the toe loop jump and other terrifying skating elements!
Claire still loves teaching (even after all these years) and is very much looing forward to meeting you and contributing to your journey through the wonderful world of Psychology.

Constantin studied at Southbank International School in London from Grade 6 to Grade 12, completing both the IB Middle Years Programme and the IB Diploma Programme. He achieved an IB score of 43 points, including a 7 in HL History and a 7 in Mathematics Applications and Interpretation SL, as well as an almost perfect score on his Extended Essay. He is currently pursuing a degree in Composition at the Royal College of Music, and his compositions have been performed across the UK. Since finishing IB, Constantin has privately tutored 10 students, both in DP1 and DP2, in Mathematics and History. His teaching philosophy centres on fostering genuine curiosity and enthusiasm for each subject. Rather than focusing solely on covering large amounts of material, he prioritises developing a deep conceptual understanding and effective independent revision skills, as well as equipping students with the tools needed for long-term success in the Diploma Programme.

Daniel is a passionate, high-achieving tutor currently pursuing his Medical Degree at the University of Nicosia. He holds a Bachelorâs degree in Chemistry with honors from the prestigious American University of Beirut (AUB), where he built a strong foundation in the physical sciences, analytical reasoning, and academic research.
In recognition of his scientific potential, Daniel was awarded the URE 2023â2024 grant for his work in organic chemistry. He is also a Senior Research Assistant at Operation 12 at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), where he contributes to groundbreaking research in psychology, exploring the intersections between cognition, behavior, and mental health.
Danielâs academic excellence began early. He completed the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme with a score of 41 out of 45, achieving perfect 7s in Higher Level Biology, Chemistry, and Business, and strong performance in his Standard Level subjects. These results reflect both his discipline and his deep understanding of scientific and conceptual frameworks.
With years of tutoring experience, Daniel has helped students across high school and university levels master difficult subjects, prepare for major exams, and build long-term academic confidence. His teaching style is clear, strategic, and empowering. David Czétényi recieved his IB diploma with a score of 44 from the Budapest International Secondary Grammar School. He has achieved a score of 7 in Higher Level Physics, Mathematics Analysis and Approaches, Economics as well as Standard Level Business Management and is now pursuing an Engineering degree at the university of KU Leuven. He has arranged online and in-person tutoring sessions during exam season, helped improve Internal Assessments and Extended Essays for 5+ students in multiple subjects. He believes in bridging the gap between the often abstract explanations of IB teachers and the unique comprehension of young adult students.
