Teaching provides a unique opportunity to shape lives and influence young people towards a responsible future, hence, my passion for teaching. As one with a passion for Mathematics and Science, I understand that many students face real challenges grasping the concepts of the subjects. Hence, teaching provides me the avenue to tackle this, while also making a contribution; giving back to the society and also challenging myself towards further growth and development. I have taught since my secondary school days; taking more than 800 students in total; at various levels (on a one-on-one basis, in groups and at mass teaching levels). I have also taught at various educational levels (secondary and tertiary) as well as to a diverse range of student ethnic backgrounds with a very high success rate in student comprehension evinced by their later performance. Having gained significant experience teaching this subject, I have a very broad understanding of what is expected of students writing the International Baccalaureate exams. I have also prepared students for varying exams including the – 11+, 13+, 16+, and curricula - GCSE and A-levels (Edexcel, OCR, AQA), IB (SL and HL) and Scottish National with excellent results from students. My teaching success rate has been largely due to my deep and vast understanding of the subject matter, coupled with my calm, interesting and engaging manner of communication that makes even an average and uninterested student develop a desire for Maths and Science. I use diverse teaching-aids, web-resources etc. as necessary."

I hold a First Class honours degree in Chemical Engineering and a Masters degree in Advanced Chemical Engineering from the Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine. I am also a UK Qualified Teacher with more than 4000 hours teaching/tutoring experience over a period of 15+ years. This has provided me with diverse experience necessary for tutoring different students' backgrounds with evident successes in the exams. I am hoping to be of help and assistance to any student in need.

To support a diverse student body, he leverages his fluency in English, Hindi, Indonesian, and Rajasthani to create an inclusive, highly supportive learning environment. Ji-in Y is a student at University of Toronto, studying Computer Science, Mathematics, and Game Studies. Ji-in graduated from Marymount Rome with a 44 in the IB, achieving a 7 in Mathematics AA HL and a 7 in English A Lit HL. Having tutored for over 2 years, Ji-in has helped 7 students through their high school and IB journey. Importantly, Ji-in focuses on working with students who speak English as a second language, and thus, improving their confidence in English regardless of the subject being taught.

Manoj A is a highly experienced Mathematics educator with over 27 years of expertise in teaching, educational leadership, and mentoring students worldwide. A graduate of the University of Pune with a Bachelor of Engineering, Manoj achieved outstanding academic results in high school — scoring 97/100 in Mathematics, 93/100 in Physics and Chemistry, and 96/100 in Biology.
For the past eight years, Manoj has specialised in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), holding a Category 2 Certification in Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches (AA HL). He has taught full-time at D.Y. Patil International School, Pune, and has also served as a substitute IBDP Mathematics teacher at renowned institutions such as the International School of Siena (Italy) and the International School of The Hague (Netherlands).
Currently, Manoj is supporting IB students globally through one-to-one tutoring and intensive revision courses for leading schools, including The International School of Brussels, International School Ombrosa (France), and The English School of Colombia. His teaching journey has also taken him to students from Singapore, the Philippines, India, Europe, Australia, and the USA.
Having accumulated over 10,000 hours of teaching experience, Manoj is proud that many of his students have achieved perfect 7s in IBDP Mathematics.
