Constantin studied at Southbank International School in London from Grade 6 to Grade 12, completing both the IB Middle Years Programme and the IB Diploma Programme. He achieved an IB score of 43 points, including a 7 in HL History and a 7 in Mathematics Applications and Interpretation SL, as well as an almost perfect score on his Extended Essay. He is currently pursuing a degree in Composition at the Royal College of Music, and his compositions have been performed across the UK. Since finishing IB, Constantin has privately tutored 10 students, both in DP1 and DP2, in Mathematics and History. His teaching philosophy centres on fostering genuine curiosity and enthusiasm for each subject. Rather than focusing solely on covering large amounts of material, he prioritises developing a deep conceptual understanding and effective independent revision skills, as well as equipping students with the tools needed for long-term success in the Diploma Programme.

Cosmina is a highly qualified mathematics educator with more than two decades of teaching experience in various international schools. As such, she is fully aware of the requirements of the IB programmes in general and IBDP mathematics courses in particular.
Cosmina loves making mathematics understandable and her teaching style is flexible, adaptable, and tailored to the students’ individual needs. This personalised approach has a significant impact and she sees herself not just as a teacher but also a support mechanism available to students in order to help them achieve their goals.

DJ graduated from the University of Waterloo with an Honours degree in Statistics and Combinatorics and Optimization. He has taught Mathematics for 17 years and is specifically trained by IB in the new math curriculum. DJ emphasizes understanding the why behind each problem rather than trying to memorize a series of steps in his sessions as this promotes long-term success in Mathematics. DJ has also been an IB examiner for the last four years and uses the knowledge he has gained from identifying common errors made by students to help students in their lessons together.

Farhana currently teaches Mathematics at one of Toronto’s leading private schools and previously served as Head of the Mathematics Department at another school. She holds an Engineering degree from Assumption University of Thailand and a master’s degree from Framingham University. She has several years of experience teaching high school Mathematics, including IB Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches and Applications and Interpretation, and she is an IB Mathematics examiner who assesses Internal Assessments.
Farhana is deeply committed to helping students make significant progress, including students who begin at a lower achievement level and are aiming for top IB results. She believes that no student is incapable of doing Mathematics and that, with the right direction, structure, practice, and encouragement, every student can improve. Her teaching focuses on building strong conceptual understanding, mathematical confidence, clear communication, and effective exam technique.

Farida graduated from the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme in 2021 with an outstanding score of 43/45. She achieved 7s in Business Management HL, Psychology HL, English B HL, and Mathematics: Applications and Interpretation SL, alongside 6s in Chemistry SL and Arabic A: Language and Literature SL. She also earned the full 3 core points, achieving an A in both Theory of Knowledge (TOK) and her Extended Essay (EE). She later graduated with honors from The American University in Cairo (AUC).
Having experienced the demands of the IB firsthand and achieved excellent results across a diverse range of subjects, Farida understands both the academic pressure and stress that come with the Diploma Programme. She knows that succeeding in the IB is not simply about understanding the content, but also about developing effective study strategies, managing workloads, preparing for assessments, and maintaining confidence throughout the journey.
As a tutor, Farida is supportive, patient, and genuinely invested in her students’ success. She aims to make challenging concepts easier to understand while adapting her teaching style to each student’s individual needs and goals. Having experienced how demanding the IB can be, Farida wants to make the journey less stressful and more manageable for her students, while being someone they can rely on for both academic guidance and encouragement. Her goal is not only to help students achieve excellent results, but also to help them build confidence, enjoy the learning process, and feel supported throughout their IB experience.

Felix was born in Güines, a large village in Cuba, where he grew up surrounded by nature—likely the reason he still loves being outdoors. He attended a high-tech secondary school, where he developed a passion for Physics, Mathematics, science, and electronics. He later moved to Europe, where he earned both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Electronic Engineering. Seven years spent in various European cities gave him a deep appreciation for art, history, and museums, as well as friendships with people from all over the world.
He first worked as an engineer at a biotechnology research center and later taught IB Physics, Mathematics, and IGCSE Science for over ten years at an international school in Havana (ISH). He also tutored students in IB Mathematics across two consecutive syllabuses: Mathematical Studies and Mathematics: Applications and Interpretation (AI). Through tutoring and classroom teaching, he came to understand firsthand what inclusiveness, active learning, differentiation, and inquiry truly mean.
Now retired from in-person teaching, he lives in Buenos Aires with his wife and his daughter's family. He is excited to continue teaching and learning with you!

The IB Mathematics: Applications and Interpretation Internal Assessment (IA) requires students to conduct an independent mathematical investigation on a real-world topic. Our tutors assist students in selecting a meaningful topic, applying appropriate mathematical techniques, analysing data, and structuring their report to meet IB criteria.
