Diego A holds a teaching degree (Licenciatura) in Philosophy and Letters, with an emphasis in Spanish Language, from Santo TomĂĄs University in BogotĂĄ, Colombia. With more than 15 years of teaching experience across the IB Diploma Programme, the MYP, and the national curriculum, he has spent over a decade teaching Theory of Knowledge in both Spanish and English.
Diego brings valuable leadership experience to his work: he has served as Diploma Programme Coordinator and Extended Essay Coordinator, and has trained teaching staff for the implementation of the IB programme in schools across Colombia. This gives him a complete understanding of how the IB works â from the daily classroom to its assessment criteria and its highest expectations. He has been trained directly by the IBO and holds a B2 English certification (Academic IELTS).
He also tutors students in Spanish A: Language and Literature and supports learners in English B, always guiding them through the core components with clarity and confidence. Diego's students consistently achieve strong results in their final assessments, a reflection of his reflective, structured, and rigorous approach. He leads them along a genuine path of critical thinking, helping them not only meet the assessment criteria but understand how knowledge itself is built, so that every student develops real intellectual confidence and learns to enjoy the journey of thinking deeply.

Dimitrios graduated from the IB Diploma Programme at the Costeas-Geitonas School in Athens with the cohort's top score of 43 points. His exceptional performance granted him direct admission to the Technical University of Munich where he will pursue his Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering at a top-25 university worldwide. Dimitrios was a national finalist in the National Olympiad for Astrophysics and Astronomy and has founded and lead his school's aerospace engineering club. He is also very passionate for the humanities, where aside from complementing his science-heavy curriculum of Math and Physics HL with English and History HL, he has also successfully completed a selective honours programme in International Relations by the University of Amsterdam. Dimitrios wants to help students excel in the IB by adapting to their needs and learning methods, but also by providing structured support and guidance all along the way. He would be very happy to have a chat about any possible collaboration!

DJ graduated from the University of Waterloo with an Honours degree in Statistics and Combinatorics and Optimization. He has taught Mathematics for 17 years and is specifically trained by IB in the new math curriculum. DJ emphasizes understanding the why behind each problem rather than trying to memorize a series of steps in his sessions as this promotes long-term success in Mathematics. DJ has also been an IB examiner for the last four years and uses the knowledge he has gained from identifying common errors made by students to help students in their lessons together.

My experience in tutoring started during my psychology studies, where I taught English as a Foreign Language. After completing an MSc in Performance Psychology, I worked as a sports psychologist and was invited to contribute as a consultant on national radio several times. I then gained a PGDE and went on to teach in both Scottish primary schools and international settings, including delivering IB English in Greece. I currently tutor English and Psychology online, bringing together strong academic standards with a warm, encouraging style.
My tutoring is rooted in a person-centred approach. In our initial session, we will identify your goals and develop a clear, achievable plan to work towards them. As learners have different strengths and preferences, I tailor each lesson to suit individual learning styles, incorporating structured explanations, active learning, and constructive feedback. I have extensive experience supporting students with additional support needs and adapt the pace, resources, and teaching strategies to ensure all learners feel supported, confident, and prepared for exams.

Dublin. He completed the IB Diploma with 42 points, including 7s in Mathematics

and understands the pressure that comes with exam season and university
applications. He spent two years tutoring mathematics and informatics with the
national organisation Trojsten, and last year all of his students achieved a 6
or a 7 in IB Maths. He currently mentors first-year engineering students at his
university, so he can be a subject tutor as well as a study mentor!
