I'm Dr. Orn I — Yale PhD biochemist, Associate Professor of Biochemistry at Mahidol University, and a private chemistry tutor with 12+ years of experience guiding international school students through IB, A-Level and AP Chemistry. Past students have been admitted to Stanford, Cambridge, Pomona and Vanderbilt. I work with one student at a time, build each lesson around their specific exam board and school markscheme, and send a written recap after every session. Online via Zoom / MS Teams from Thailand.

Özgür is completing his M.Sc. in Physics at Heidelberg University, Germany's oldest university, with research in computational quantum physics. He holds a B.Sc. in Physics from Boğaziçi University, one of Turkey's top universities, where he studied on a national merit scholarship and all teaching was in English. Özgür has tutored IB students since 2019 and teaches IB Physics and both IB Mathematics courses, AA and AI, at SL and HL, as well as MYP Mathematics and Physics. His IB students regularly achieve 7s. He also brings curriculum experience, having written IB Mathematics questions for Oxford University Press for the new 2027 curriculum and created IB DP and MYP maths and physics material for online platforms. As a former university teaching assistant for Mathematical Methods in Physics, he knows where students tend to get stuck and how to get them past it. His research also gives him real strength in data analysis and uncertainties, a big help for students working on their Physics IA or Extended Essay. Özgür's lessons are clear, structured and patient. He finds the exact point where a student's reasoning goes wrong, rebuilds the idea step by step, and builds the exam technique and confidence students need for top grades.

With over 30 years of experience teaching Mathematics and Physics at IB, A Level, and IGCSE, I’ve had the privilege of working in nine different countries. I'm deeply interested in both subjects and love sharing that enthusiasm with students. As an expert educator, I particularly enjoy online teaching for the flexibility it offers and the chance to focus on one-to-one learning. Outside the classroom, I’m an avid long-distance cyclist, having explored routes across Australia, New Zealand, China, Africa, and Canada.

Petros's academic journey began at the University of Crete, Greece, where he pursued his passion for Applied Mathematics. He then earned a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics from Imperial College London. It was in London that he naturally transitioned from academia to education—a decision he considers one of the best of his life.

His career in education has been both dynamic and fulfilling. From serving as a Lead Practitioner for A Level Mathematics in London schools to teaching the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, Petros has embraced the challenges of education while consistently delivering high-quality learning experiences to students from diverse backgrounds. His teaching journey has taken him to breathtaking destinations such as Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and he now works in Cambodia, where he continues to foster intellectual curiosity among his students.

Beyond the classroom, Petros enjoys padel, running, hiking, traveling, and cooking for friends. He believes in maintaining a well-rounded lifestyle and lives by the motto “Mens sana in corpore sano”—"A healthy mind in a healthy body.

Pilar lives in Stavanger, Norway, with her husband and two daughters, where she works as the Principal Coordinator and Music Teacher at Sandnes International School in PYP and MYP programmes. With over 15 years of experience in international education, she has served as MYP Coordinator at an international school in Spain, as well as Head of Department and Music Teacher, with expertise across the PYP, MYP, and DP programmes, also has experience as a Spanish Teacher.
She is an active member of the International Baccalaureate Educator Network (IBEN), serving as a Workshop Leader, Programme Leader, Examiner, and Visiting Team Member. Pilar also collaborates with the Valencian International University in Spain as a counsellor for the Master for Heads of Schools programme.

Pinky has been teaching Science and Physics for 11 years at top International Schools in India like Harrow and Indus. Pinky specilaizes in improving students scores by atleast 2 - 3 points with personalized plans and targetted resources. Having been a gold medallist at University with a top score of 84% in the Physics Masters programme, Pinky understands what it takes to push for top performance. Pinky also holds a Masters in Education, making her lessons and resources highly creative, integrated with best practices in teaching science and physics and catering to neural learning principles on how best to learn science and math skills. Pinky believes that all children are capable and her favourite activity is to help children find their specialized strength in science and math. Her experience as a secondary programme coordinator and physics curriculum designer has helped her create lessons that are focussed on high stakes topics and maximizing scoring potential.
